The body is a roadmap to our lives.  Every “body” tells a story. Who you are, what you do, creates boundaries within the body. The Myofascial Release Therapist takes your life-long history of falls, injuries, work-related postures and includes that information in with the current condition being treated. Myofascial release therapy is preventative maintenance as well!

Common conditions treated include, but are not limited to:

  • Acute and Chronic Back, Neck Pain, and Shoulder Pain
  • Recovery from Surgery/Scar Tissue
  • Post Mastectomy/Biopsy/Reconstruction Pain/Lymphedema
  • TMJ and Jaw Pain and Dysfunction
  • Fibromyalgia and Myofascial Pain Syndrome
  • Frozen Joints
  • Repetitive Strain Injuries
  • Stress
  • Headaches/Migraines
  • Scoliosis
  • Trigeminal Neuralgia
  • Depression and Anxiety
  • Trauma Recovery/PTSD
  • Car Accidents Injuries
  • Vertigo
  • Pelvic Floor Dysfunction
  • Neurological Conditions – Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Traumatic Brain Injury, Stroke, Cerebral Palsy and more.

Results of treatment vary with each individual.  Generally, patients reach their goals within four to twelve weeks, with 1 to 3 treatment sessions per week.

Chronic and more severe conditions will require greater frequency and longer lengths of treatment.
